Did you see my tripod prints there. Great shot . I cropped mine to bring out the washer woman a little more. This is a crazy place at times but the day I was there it was just myself and a few others. The next day is when the crowd showed up. i didnt even try to set up that day. One thing I forgot to mention in my Mesa Madness shot is that after everone left i just hanging out and had to pick up a cigarette butt. Right where all the photographers had been.

I agree with the rest…......wonderful upward glow on the rock. The position of the sun just above the peak down below really makes this photograph remarkable.

This is a beautiful shot, both light and composition. I also love your comment on the natural world. Edward Abby said much the same in 61 when leaving his post as a Canyon Land ranger. Much has gone under since then.. including all of Glen Canyon!
