Now thats cool – Its actually a typical footprint if you look carefully but the angle its shot from makes you initially think otherwise.

This definitely does play a trick on your eyes. I can definitely see how it could be mistaken for protruding out of the sand instead of into the sand. I took a very similar picture and at first thought the same thing. Great shot!!!

Ahhhhh very good… the art of perception of what is reality.. and what creates the shadows of the other dimension. On the thumbnail it appeared as a mold of a footprint. Now seeing bigger.. it is easier to distinguish. Long foot appears to be which could require long shoes as well.
