MOLΩN LABE
The phrase molon labe (Ancient Greek μολὼν λαβέ molon labé; reconstructed Ancient Greek pronunciation [mol’on labé]; Modern Greek pronunciation [mo’lon la’ve]) means “Come and take”. It is a classical expression of defiance reportedly spoken by King Leonidas I in response to the Persian army’s demand that the Spartans surrender their weapons at the Battle of Thermopylae. It is an exemplary use of a laconic phrase.

I’m an in-house Graphic Designer all day everyday, for a big corporate company concentrating on design for print (brochures, leaflets, posters etc.) and more recently interactive pdfs and iPad magazines.

There’s precious little opportunity to do much illustration or animation in my day job so I like to design my t-shirts in Illustrator to give them a crisp polished look.
