Artist's Description

Welcome to my SF-series “Flight across the three universes”, based on a story I never wrote. I bear this story in mind since 1990 or so. I hope some day I will find the time and the leisure to write it down, but then – my mind is brimmed with stories that want to be written… I think it’s all a matter of priorities. And “a matter of priorities” is the little brother of the weaker self. ;o)

Anyway, here’s the story: it’s told (or has to be told… lol) from the perspective of a young boy, 14 or 15 yrs old. As the story sets in he is accompanying his parents from one space station to another. His parents are doctors (or so they make believe him and the world), trying to defend a plague. One night he discovers something wrong. His parents, who are in fact evil pirates (booh!), try to capture the ship. Blood is shed. The boy, not amused with very good reason, succeeds in fleeing with a space capsule.
He connects with his uncle, who is the only confidential person at that moment, and together with him, he chases across the afore-said universes – the pirates always in hot pursuit of them.

I’m uncertain about all the details – maybe the pirate-parents are real doctors who share a dark secret about the plague (maybe they are the main reason for it and act in behalf of someone else)…? I guess, I’ll have to write the story to find out. :o)

Anyway, here are some images depicting the highlights of the story – in chronological order.
Have fun imagining the story as much as I had fun creating these images!

Created in Bryce – with some postprocessing in Photoshop.
