Nicole…this is soooo funny…I have four at home at the moment… two restart school Tuesday…I don’t know… are children these days really so easily bored? or is it just something to say…maybe they hope we will rescue them… I offer chores as a solution :):)

After soaking this in for a few seconds I can see the very real emotion in a candid portrait.
I must admit that it makes me laugh at their misfortune. But who cares…5 min and a ice cream cone and it’s like it never happened.

we went for a pinic and staying playing (on playground and photography) for another 5 hrs – this was at the end so they were also v. tired, but sooooo over the photography! I did also tell them they weren’t allowed to move while I climbed under the jetty… everytime I see this image it really makes me laugh!

GREAT composition. And when kids tell me they’re bored…I say, “You’re as bored as you make it.” And that seems to stun them into realizing they could be writing a letter, reading a book or drawing something creative. :)

That’s correct he is a little boy – had a little giggle over that, but he is wearing pink (and bright pink at that) + you can’t see his face, so an easy mistake to make…
bored is an understatement! I made them stand still for a couple of minutes (after 5 hrs of playing) and this is how I find them, I still smile everytime I look at this…
