Thanks everyone for the comments – I am v. pleased with this one (esp as it is my daughter).
For those that have asked what I did, I cloned out her freckles and added a bit of a blur to her skin (masking out her eyes and the flower), I used the high pass filter with ‘softlight’ and droped opacity and masked out everything expect her eyes and the flower. I also played with the levels, increased the contrast and brightness (a little), played with some the filters (can’t remember which one I used – sorry) and blended it in with (softlight – I think) and dropped the opacity. Also used the dodge and burn tool to highlight eyes and flower… hope that helps some, have prob. left out some steps ‘cause i do a bit, take a break, come back and do a bit more – should write it down…
