Lensbaby Belle
ok so i know this is just a ‘portrait’ but it’s the first one i have taken with my lensbaby composer that is even close to focused (in the correct spot), so i’m pretty darn pleased with that… taken at hervey bay just before the sun set – the light was beautiful…

Very nice result !! I have found that I like my lensbaby best on nice sunny days, seems to work better for me (or maybe I work better for it….) I love the colors :) There is also a lensbaby group on RedBubble, not sure if you are aware of that, thought I would let you know…..

Well done Nicole. Focus is skill #1 for Lensbaby. So you’re halfway there. Now a little tilt to move the sweet spot around, then messing with all the aperture discs and you’re a Master… Keep working.

This is lovely, I am assuming that the lensbaby focuses on the subject and creates the blur around the subject?!

the lensbaby is a manual lens – you have to select your aperture discs and focus manually while twisting/squeezing the lens… check out mel brackstone’s work (first person that commented on here) – she is a pro at it :-)
