love child waiting concern patience
A beautiful shot, Jen, with a resonance for all of us who have waited at windows, as kids or as adults.
thanks so much, David! I really appreciate your comment.
Absolutely tugs at my heart.
awww…!! thanks Paul!
Jen, this is quite an emotional picture. And as Ilook at it, there appears to be a house across the street? That house almost resembles a sad face, looking back at your daughter.
Hey Nancy… thanks… I thought so too. I hadn’t realized that the house does, indeed, look like a sad face… which all fits together… because she was very sad when she was looking out. Our dog had hurt his paw and was bleeding and she was so worried about him that she wouldn’t leave the window.
thanks so much, rosedew!
thank you so much, bubbleblue!
i see why.. the dog… good demonstration of low apeture.. and side placement of your subject. Shadowing.. contrasting… the mood is strengthened by the face shaped house. The title also makes one wonder. Without the story… could be children waiting to go out and play… perhaps a love in the house next door. But the image is not clear.. which again refers to future is unclear. So many ways to percieve. Good one to share.. as emotion and scenario are dependent on the viewer.
Love the blurry image on the screen, great capture!
love this one
