Can you send to the Moran ? closes on the 21 May, they only just sent me a entry! lol how fast can I paint? not at all , says me … no-one to paint either, only me myself and I

  • Nice thought Virginia but it isn’t good enough for that. It is so difficult and expensive to get to Sydney. It is life size and doesn’t fit in the car so has to go on roof rack. I have another portrait of him not quite finished which I think is the better painting. I’m thinking Portia Geach but it is $50 a painting to enter and I have hopefully 4 paintings.

    aww it is good enough!

  • You’ve got me thinking. The other painting is only a day from completion and you can enter with digital image rather than lug it to Sydney. Costs $50 a painting but might give it a go. Thanks Ginny

Lyn, wonderful portrait…the red chair and angle of his body and head leaning toward the window/painting and his arms folded back into himself make it a great psychological study…

  • Thanks Helen, he has wonderfully expressive hands with long fingers but I was very relieved when he hid them without me hinting! I think it hints at how sensitive he is.
