At my Hubby’s grandfathers farm. 4 weeks after the fires and we went to clean up…..not much was left but there was a single rose bush flowering. Hubby’s grandma died 2 years ago and we think that she watched over the place as it went up. The house was left standing and only one of her beloved roses!!! Just amazing
