Nocturne in G Minor by

Amelia dances to her own tune, in her new Bella Brights (that’s me!) dress :) You can listen to a lovely version of Chopins Nocturne in G Minor here

In thinking about the title for this piece, I was reminded of a poem I wrote some time ago, one that still remains a favourite today.

Maestro

Your words so elegantly created
to purposefully confound
issue forth with all the grace
and tonal depth
of the most mesmerising nocturne.

Yet beneath the surface harmony
discordant notes throw me off balance
Leaving me clutching at the
ephemeral ligatures of understanding
you dangle before me.

Your intention that your masterpiece
be played in adagio
dissolves, perhaps inevitably, into an allegro rubato
that touches my soul so profoundly
I cannot help but weep.

Weep with the joy of holding you,
with the sorrow of loving you
with the knowledge that my contralto could, perhaps,
add depth to your lifes work and yet…
You cannot compose my inclusion.

When will you realise that
I willingly divulged the key
(G minor)
that would unlock the mysteries of my own cadenza
the moment your eyes met mine?

You have but to use it.

Amelia looks so much sadder than Cassidy… which is surprising cause her ears are normal and she`s wearing an original Bella Bright… AND she`s got knock-out sexy boots!
But maybe it`s just the melancholy of the Chopin. Such an amazing talent taken far too soon from this world…
I can only say how much I love your poem as a deep tribute to the complex romance of the musically gifted.
    You are amazing Rhana.
    And you got awesome dolls.
In fact, you`re one yerself !!
