I know that part of what we all love about flowers is their flashy colour, but I was so entranced by the form of this new tulip that I felt it needed to be presented in black and white to highlight that perfection of form without the distraction of colour.

The perfection of form without the distraction of colour" would have made for a killer title. It’s a great phrase that flows effortlessly off the tongue and describes this beauty ever so perfectly.

  • I tried to say that really fast five times and ended up spending the next half an hour picking the knots out of my tongue! Onya! Mind… at least my keyboard kept dry ;)
