Together... We Stand in the Light by

This is the good twin image of Unholy Alliance

I wanted to post both of these images to illustrate that perception is everything. Some of you will see this one first, others will have seen Unholy Alliance first. I think first impressions are where its at. I would be interested to see who likes which one best. I love them both, I think side by side they represent the duality we all have within us. Its just that most times we dont show all of ourselves to everyone.

Very true words. I’m not sure if I even know my true self!

I like this one so much – I love the clarity, the pristine metrically rigid lines. The simple tones of black and white and the sheer strength and power (Does that make me good for liking this one? – Where’s Freud when you need him?)

I dont know if it makes you good or not Stuart… what does it say about me that I chose to post Unholy Alliance first?

    (laughs)

Hmmm, strokes beard as he talks to patient on couch.

Rhana, your choosing of the dark side first, sets out your initial perception of your inner self to the world as a cheeky loveable rogue, before getting to know you and the revealment of your inner spiritual beauty.

Or something like that anyway. Either that our it means you like Frogs or something

Thankyou Dr Chapman for that insightful analysis!

Funny you should say that about frogs though… I currently have a batch of tadpoles turning into frogs in my kitchen as we speak!!!

I too like them both but like this one better Rhana. I love the sky in this one and that building against that sky is fantastic. Its a truly powerful image. Give me a feeling of strength and power from your perspective

Rhana, this is the best, I think because there is more contrast from building to the sky. plus I like this sky better… :-)

Rhana, leave it to you to come up with something deep hot on the heels of those happy-go-lucky shoes. I see your point about the good and bad in each of us, but I was flicking from one to the other (this was easy using the back / forward arrow buttons on the browser as my connection was running perticularly fast and you could almost get it so the church was a medium grey), when something else occurred to me. The “evil” shot has a sky that looks like it was menacing but is now clearing… and the “good twin” shot has a sky that looks increasingly menacing. So even though things look fine and good and you`re having a smooth ride in a cool convertable, there`s a high chance of local showers comin’ atcha… and by the same token, even when things look totally bad and menacing and like the shit`s hit the fan, there`s clear skies just beyond the horizon. It`s the dynamic of life. Yin and Yang. The balance of nature. I think these two pictures together tell that story perfectly.

Which one do I like best? The evil twin of course. For the same reason I like black winged angels. It`s the way I am. And if you want the chocolate, you still have to come and get it!
