New Years Eve we took the two Nannas and the puppy to Phantom Valley for a picnic. We had only been there once before and were guided in by the fabulous Maree… so needless to say we got lost. Not once, but twice!!! We eventually made it though, and it was worth the 30 odd kilometres of wrong dirt tracks to spend the afternoon in a beautiful secluded spot on the Arthur River.
While the puppy was snoozing and the boys were catching eels, I snuck off to take a paddle in this beautiful – but icy cold! – creek.

What a beauty. The portrait view works incredibly well indeed and love the tricklets of water soothing over the edges of the rocks amidst the lush greens of deep looking jungle
(insert happy sigh here) And I just love the way your melodious comments sound when I read them ;)

There are plenty of people in Victoria who would love to go for a paddle in an icy creek today,…ease the sting of the blisters too. It looks lovely Rhana :-)
Yeah I do believe you all have been have a spot of the hot up there! I have to thank Melbourne for being extremely kind to me weather wise when I was there in December. I melt very easily. Hence one of the many reasons I have chosen to make Tassie my home.
