You clever girl, you! This is stunning. I love the editing on this IR shot of yours. Is this a new fad for you, Rhana? : )

  • Quite possibly Adriana ;)

That’s beautiful Rhana, the horizon seems to keep stretching out forever.

Great use of IR, a wonderfully dramatic image.

Very nice use of IR and that sky is to die for with it’s whispy flick across the skyline smoothly spreading and and stretching with a “YAWN”.

Perfect trees for IR too and like the background one, so rich in leafage pulling the IR snowy whites to the max.

Stick a fence in for nice parallels and a floor that looks similar to the snow we’ve been having of late and you have a winner.

  • I read that last bit as “you have a winter” and I’m thinking “oh dear, all that UK snow has gotten to Stuarts brain”

Guess the last laugh is on me there huh? Oh… nice av too :)) How is ltitle Baby Bunting going?

I was wondering when you were going to get the infrared started…and you’ve come out with a stunner. Those clouds are terrific. Love the fence too – I’d love to see a close-up of that. What camera did you end up taking this on?

  • It took a while but yep, finally got there :) I ended up hunting down an IR ready Olympus C2020z – perfect for the lazy photographer that I am ;) Only trouble is its almost an antique so it doesn’t produce images of any great size – I’m yet to get one printed to see how they look. I figure if IR becomes a passion I can look at investing some serious $$, but my little Olly will do for now :)

Love the drama in this, Rhana, it’s great. Love the lines the movement, and the silence. Great IR shot.

  • IR is all about drama Jan, and being the Drama Queen that I am I think that is what intrigues me the most about this form of photography.

I love love LOVE that you got the whole “silence” part of this Jan… thank you SO much!
