I asked my son to play for me… and he did.

Music… it fills our lives with joy, sharing in our laughter and happy times, comforting us in the dark. It asks nothing in return, but for us to listen… and feel.

I love the combination of lines from the strings and the round bokeh highlights interspersed on the guitar body. Between these two you’ve captured, with wonderful compositional skills, the tension and work of your young players hand. Beautiful work.

  • Thanks for a truly thoughtful comment JR. The elements in this one seemed to drop into place almost effortlessly, and as t is my first real outing with my nifty fifty I was pleasantly surprised with the results.

Yes its the shallow DOF, but its the focus on the fingers that really makes it

    Bob

  • Thanks Bob, that’s exactly what I was going for :)

Wow, wicked DOF from the DOF queen! You`ve got this down to a fine art with such a narrow depth…
And I don`t know if it`s because I`m on something I shouldn`t be, but that headstock sure looks like some cool reptile with chrome spikes on his head and a chilling stare, ready to snap off my right arm…
OK, I`ll get back on the methadone… after I finish lookin at mor pics…
    Nice shot lady!

  • I have to admit I am having a hell of a lot of fun working with depth of field at present BB.

Ummm… can I please have some of what you’re having? Make for some wild ride methinks! xxx
