Wow! Which planet in our solar system did you visit to get this shot? This is fantastic Rhana.. I love the colour in this and the softness of the water contrasting with those jagged rocks is brilliant.. I love that milky soft feeling to the water and those cloud formations are a real treat.. Brilliant work!

Absolutely stunning Rhana – i was hoping Stuart had made a comment so i could ditto it (he just told me off you see LOL).
It couldn’t be more perfect really – the clouds work in harmony with the rocks and the horizon works in harmony with the sea – just gorgeous – the colours just take you away to another place.

Reminds me of the story about how everyone starts the day with 86,400 seconds each which they can’t carry forward, can’t go overdrawn on and must utilise in the best way.

Although to me I could be seen to go against that with this image, although I would disagree. To behold such a sight of magnificance like this, I would need to just sit down and gaze, drift off into various daydreams and watch the sunset over this glorious scene. (That’s the beauty of your beach uploads Rhana – I damn well know they’re not sunrises so I can’t get it wrong). Now, I would think that would be time well spent marvelling in such spleandour, but others may see it as time wasted. As ever with life – It’s up for debate.

Now, why would I spend so much time looking, well i’ll explain. The sky for starters, the clouds look like a big tuft of cotton wall that someone has pulled away at and left tiny bobbles to pick up individual slithers of the glorious orange and purple light as the sun hits the dust particles from every angle. The clouds leave enough gap at the horizon for that gorgeous streak of orange which helps to clour the scene.

The water looks on the move enough that the gentle sound of the splashes against those rocks would be enough to hold your attention to stay some more. The capture of its movement is well done here giving it that silky feel.

And finally those rocks. Jagged and sharp but seem to be basking in that last light before they disappear into the darkness to face the elements that will cause their eventual downfall alone. The collection of the together against the evoding sea gives me a real feeling of togetherness.

Rhana, don`t know why I didn`t see this… was probably just too busy with other stuff, ya know? What magical place were you in when you took this? How many black winged agnels held your tripod still for you? Who were you with that had such an impact on you that you managed to conjure up such an awesome sky? This kind of power cannot be had from just strolling down to the beach on a summer`s evening… there is deep karma about your work that cannot be explained in known terms. I`m just glad you`re sharing it with us.

Magical combination of wispy clouds, gorgeous sunset-lit clouds on the horizon, silhouetted “sharp” rocks and silky water in the foreground, all tied together with a fantastic palette of colours. Stunning image, Rhana. Like a dreamscape.
