They are the sexiest shoes ever, red polka dot on black leather – what an invention! Love your treatment here and the way your heel is slightly raised and the way the buckle harnesses your back heel, nice sheen on the leather and love what you are sitting on. Beautiful work!

Back for another look….. I got so caught up in the shoes I actually thought about the shot afterwards. This is a great shot Rhana. The angle of your foot and the shoe blends and compliments so well with the angles on the bike…. The negative space at the top of the image is also vital to the shot. Great work.

(laughing @ Boz) You can see why I just HAD to have them? lol I think they are programmed with subliminal messaging =)

But thankyou VERY much for now taking note of the technical aspect of the image… it took a lot of work to get the angles right and I’m just so pleased with how it turned out!

Christmas and Birthday? Serious pair of shoes Rhana, I’ve never seen anything like them and I love them (I wouldn’t be able to walk in them mind you). Love the shot, the red black and chome work beautifully together.

Hey Sylvia! Yep its my birthday tomorrow… nine days before Christmas. They are actualy surprisingly easy to walk in! The little platform at the front takes the pain out =) I was struggling with how to get these shoes in their best light… walked out to the shed and there was the bike sitting there in all her chrome glory. Ka-CHING!!

Hey Rhana, bet you think I spent all day in bed while everyone else has been commenting like mad. I feel sort of left out here, but I’m sure there will be others after me so I won’t feel bad… I’ve actually been out shopping with the family (says with fingers crossed behind back).

First of all, the shoes. If Dorothy had had THOSE little numbers, she would have gotten a lot farther than Kansas. Have you tried clicking your heels? You are in Oz, right?

I’m already partial to the shot cause I’m still a biker even though I’m bikeless at the mo. But what really gets me about this is the way you exlploited the bike vibe and enhanced it. Modern bikes are all about those angles. Your leg and foot follow those converging angles perfectly, and then you do the amazing thing of putting red on monochrome BW to inject passion, and the polka dots inject spontaneity (did I spell that puppy right?) and originality… what gave you the idea for this? I only ask because it IS original enough to make an ad campaign in a world where we’ve seen practically everything. Any bike shop would love to have this framed (just as you have done it with the black) and hanging on their wall and would probably end up selling twice as many bikes to chicks as they did before. And if they don’t believe you, send the bastards to me! Wicked work!!

I can’t really say much about the shoes except the detailed cut out is really nice, I confess my passion is the motorbike the lines are so crisp and the thought of all the power i think its what makes the picture its the naughtiness meets innocence of the shoes and the rough and cut shapes of the bike always good.
