One Wish

Nice composition Rhana, excellent for b&w.

I made a vow a long time ago in RB to read the description first before commenting. (With good reason as I once commented on a self portrait and calle a she a he – very embarrising I can tell the!)

So, I have the opposite now I have done this, i’m now too pre occupied wondering what your one wish is today rather than comment upon the gorgeously smooth and monotoned beauty of a shot that I saw before the narrative.

I hope the wish is for world domination, or you’re really starting to take your eyes off the boil. I gave you less landmass with the southern hemisphere, but your macro lens seems to have taken your eye off the larger picture.

WOW – This is macro heaven. The nodules on the centre are prominent light collecting shadow givers with textureous branches of mini heaven holding the beautiful whispy wonderments of seeds of life all together until the wind continues the life of the species.

All that Stuart said in the last paragraph and I also remember wishing on a dandelion

We don’t get dandelions where I am right now, but I do remember doing the same as a kid… would you mind if I made a wish on your dandelion today?

This is gorgeous Rhana, the composition is just right and the softness of the dandelion kind of makes for a comforting backdrop to cradle the detail at the centre. Best things come from details that you have to search out like this… oh and this is stunning in black and white by the way.

Rhana, I STILL make wishes on these and they should not be limited to children. Your wish of a stunning macro came true. Well done.

This is very detailed, showing the textures so clearly: the softness of the seed feathers and the seeds themselves, and the center of the dandelion, too.I’m not a fan of B&W photography at all but, on this occasion, this is most assuredly better than it would be in colour. Fabulous macro, Rhana. P.S.: Hope your wish comes true for you.

One of the lovely things about RB is watching a talent like you take to a form and perfect it so astonishingly well in such a short time. All on-going jokes about flower shots aside Rhana this is just such a precise piece of grace and elegance it took my breath away. Pure magnificence.
