Saving Grace

Saving Grace

I got you
You know I heard you say
You blossomed into a beautiful day
Your sunlight keeps shining in my face
I would see it even in deep out of space

And all in time
I know I will see you again and again
And every night I’m going to hold you and hold you and then
Before the light I will rescue and then we’ll begin
To start it all over again

I love it
And how you clear my way
Guide me into a brand new day
In your eyes you know I’ve found my place
You see you – you are my saving grace

And all in time
I going to see you again and again
And every night I’m going to hold you and hold you and then
Before the light I will rescue and then we’ll begin
To start it all over again

Don’t ever want to miss you
Don’t ever want to forget you
The way you are….today

And all in time
I’m going see you again and again
And every night I’m going to hold you and hold you and then
Before the light I will rescue and then we’ll begin
To start it all over again

Wow, to me those clouds look like a tidal wave about to hit! Awesome work Rhana…....................(sorry, I hate peter murray), I would put that in tiny print but I don’t know how! I got a little excited when I read the first line, I got you, reminded me of another truly awesome tune by a little NZ band.

  • Rhana GriffinRedbubbley Schweppervescence replied

NZ band? Please… don’t hold out on me, do tell ;)

It’s a good thing I like you so much, I’ll forgive you the Pete Murray thang

Bloody hell, Saving Grace? More like the end of the world!
    Sensational work!

  • Rhana GriffinRedbubbley Schweppervescence replied

Funny isn’t it… how one person sees redemption, and the other sees destruction… that is the truly beautiful thing about creating something like this and putting it out there for others to see. I love the way you see this Marion.

Ok, i’ve come back for a second comment. On the way back from London on the train today a song by The Audition shuffled it’s way onto my i-pod (I have mentioned them before – The line carry me like jet planes crossing the sea was the title of the shot that was dedicated to you).

Anyway, the line to the song was “Go to Heaven for the weather, but to Hell to Sell you’re soul. I’ll show you where mine went so long ago”.

I am seriously begininng to thing something similar’s gone on here. Made a deal with Lucifer in order to conjure up such a sky or did you just go to Heaven for the weather?

If I could favourite this a second time I would.

  • Rhana GriffinRedbubbley Schweppervescence replied

Back again eh Stuart? (smiles) I just love that!

In answer to your question, this little spit of land I live on is Heaven on Earth. And I couldn’t go to Hell to strike a deal even if I wanted to… Hell has a restraining order out on me =)
