Hi All!!
Just a quick note to say that I am making my way through my huge list of favourite’s at the moment, buying your pieces of works as either cards/tees/prints.
I’ve noticed some have been deleted or removed at some point or another (which I have done myself in my own portfolio previously). Is a pity, cos I hadn’t yet gotten to purchase that fave piece of yours!! So I just thought I’d say a “HANG ON A MINUTE GUYS!” before deciding that a piece of work you’ve perhaps had little or no sales from, gets deleted from your portfolio. Some of us have just taken awhile to get our butts into gear. Especially me, with low income ATM. I figure if I can spend a few bucks a fortnight buying wonderful works, then before I know it I’ll have a wonderful little collection that I slowly but surely built, all the while supporting my fellow friends/artists around me. Perhaps this is something you yourself should think about to??? It’s all about supporting one another here at RB, don’t you think???
Anyway, love to see all the new works popping up, especially from OS.

yah i deleted close to 200 of my pieces few days ago.. and i mentioned in my journal that unless someone has put a comment.. i couldnt tell if anyone has favd it or not..
I deleted stuff with no comments for starters.. but i know ppl sometimes fav and not comment.. I deleted mine cuz ppl keep saying how MUCH ive got (it was close to 1000 items) – i cant help it if i have much stuff..and i know mine is such a diverse range :( I dunno what to do, it prob is overwhelming people, and it seems that we suppose to have the best of the best.. But what i think is my best might not mean that its what you like best. So prob the best way is that if u really like someones stuff and hope to buy it one day (even if tis someday) is to leave a comment and say that “Gonna buy this soon” so that the artist knows?

I try not to delete work if I can help it Belinda. I am guilty of doing it with a few of my works, but I have re posted them too. I never really considered the fact that people had faved them :( Now though, I try to draw attention to older work through JE’s rather than deleting them at all :)

Webgrrl, I know how you feel-who really knows what people REALLY like, and who knows how many items you SHOULD have up at one time or another. You made an excellent point regarding the ‘leave comment on piece of work’-”Will buy this soon” or “have to buy this one” or something of the like. I think that’s what more folks should add to their comments. Mind you, there are plenty of people out there who are full of sh*t and would just write that anyway!! (I HOWEVER DO NOT!!! I always keep my word with those sorts of things…)

I would like to protest the over abundance of good work. My wallet can only stretch so far, so please consider loading bad work up instead.

Hehehehehehhhh…..:) My purse has NO STRETCH Michman!!! ATM I’m letting myself spend about $30 a fortnight min…that get’s me a tee or a whole heap of cards :)

I really only try to post things that I really like and hope others will to. So once they are posted they are here to stay.

i only have deleted items that say have only been viewed 1-3 times… nothing that has a comment or fav do I delete… I agree with you on supporting each other and just recently purchased one of my favorites. I sold a piece so I want to give back to my fellow artist and share the wealth. I hope to keep doing this as I can afford or especially when I make sales.

I agree with you Belinda. I only delete something if it’s been up a while and nobody has commented or favorited or anything…

I try to make sure I really like something before I post it, then I wont delete it. It is great that you go through your favourites and buy some of the work, I have been favourited a fair bit but nothing had come of it yet! Like you, I one day plan to buy some of the work in my favourites but have no money! Great job! x
