Thank you all so much for your kind comments on Chip.
I took this yesterday morning in B&W at Yorkeys Knob beach at sunrise. I’m glad you like the tweak I gave the highlights and shadows. I think it makes everything stand out a little more.
Di Edwards
Thanks also for adding him to your Favs, Peter, dairygirl and Sorin!
Much appreciated!
Lachlan Kent
What a fun and happy portrait Di! You’ve really captured this bluey’s personality. Lovely work.

VBS Awwwwwww Di …. this is an incredible photo!! Not only because the subject matter is so cute (VBS) but the composition of this photo is amazing :) I LOVE that you got down to eye level with him for a start and the Black and White treatment is wonderful :) :) VBS

Thanks Lachlan, Craig, Lucinda and Lana.
I really appreciate your comments about this photo! Chip was actually on a sand dune at the beach and I was down the other side so it was easy to get him at eye level, although I’ve been known to lie down on wet sand to get a good shot of them before LOL
Lucinda, he is a sweet dog at home with us and friends but take him out in public among other dogs and he’s a rotten bugger! Grrr!
ozczecho

Hi di – i have a kelpie who loves a bit of beach too so can relate to this shot. Have added it to my growing cart of card purchases but might take me all week to finalise an order – there are so many great designs to choose from! thanks for sharing your Chip with us.

Lovely shot Di, looks great in b&w! :-)
Di Edwards replied
Thanks Madeleine, thankfully he’s lost a fair bit of weight since this was taken as he rather resembles a beach ball LOL This is one of my fave shots of him though so I’m glad you like it.
