Hi bela. as one who submits to alamy, if you want to go down this route then it is easy enough to do it yourself. it can time consuming but rewarding when you get a sale. as dar as retouching goes, too much and they will never get past quality control. best leaving them as natural as poss. if you want any more advice feel free to ask

  • Hi Paul! To be honest I really don’t have time to put my images on Stock Agencies and I was curios if it worth. Anyway thanks for your advice :-)

I would be very dubious Bela, wait for reactions from other members I’m sure you won’t be the only one receiving it. I found the following :- you might find interesting.

  • I was very dubious too…for sure this is the way how they are looking for job. Thanks, Colin :-)

Wow, Bela, that’s just weird!!!! I’m honestly not even sure what service it is they think they’re providing? Re touching?? YOUR images? That’s absurd … everything you do is awesome!!!! Suggesting key words Big deal!!!! Strangest thing I’ve ever seen!!!!! Ok, in reading the other comments, i see it must be a service for those who wish to go the stock photo route … and that’s your choice of course. I haven’t bothered with it myself. I’ll be interested to see where this thread goes and will keep an eye on it!!!!

  • At first it was weird for me either. If they like my portfolio, why would I neen retouching? Actually I was curious about other members experience with this company. Thanks for your kind words, dear Lois :-)

All I know is that my images keep getting stolen and If I received an email like this to send them images I would tell them to go and take the photos themselves, spend a few thousand dollars in equiment, plus travel expenses to go to the places you shoot them. I think this is crazy, but this is just my opinion Béla. Your work is fabulous:)))

  • Thank you, dear Tereza! I agree with you…I guess this is the way how they are looking for new clients.

From my experience Bela everything that is offered for free usually has a catch to it. As others have commented there’s nothing that needs to be restored to your work. Personally, I wouldn’t fall for this, sounds more like a SCAM…Jules

  • I agree with you, my friend!
