Hi, thanks for dropping in, I hope you enjoy my doodles. I work in pen and ink on woven natural fabrics; sometimes incorporating wax and dye. I have a great admiration for traditional textile art, especially Javanese batik and Turkish design elements. Hopefully, you will see some of these influences in my doodles. My process is rather hard to explain, it’s compulsive, stream-of-consciousness, and spiritual, I wish I could explain it better. This is something very new for me, my education is not in any area of art. And I still have dificulty thinking of my doodles in that way. But with much encouragement from my daughter and her friends (the highest form of praise that I could imagine) I have held my breath and uploaded.
