I think its really good. I like how you adapted something like hokusai into a more edgy anime style, while still looking old school. The paper background is a nice effect, very dramatized.

Thanks for the comment.

This was done in pencil and ink on paper.
Scanned and colored in PS7.

The effects I used was a tiled style baroque wallpaper for the background.

I used a scanned creased paper, put it on the top layer and used overlay (I think – was a longtime ago).

The weathered effect is just a selected splatter – then I moved it around and cut away various parts.

The muted colors was done with color saturation and messing with the color balance settings.
