Touching the dark
Embracing the light
“Two women explore the lightness of love, trust and acceptance,
and the darkness of hardships and separation.
Their work uses images of the feminine form, symbols, myths and totems.
It seeks to clarify the relationship between nature and womanhood
and re-affirm life, joy and connectedness.”

Tangly tights And knotted noses Breasts like roses
Like the dragonfly / tatooed on your shoulder / this / may / be / who you really are.
I am opening your book / it is my life / a sacred turning towards / your Love
The immense sorrow of stars / scattered in a stretch of lonely space / filtered only / by shadows.
Chips flake away from the varnished surface. / I try to spit shine the layers of illusion / simultaneously on and off.
On days, it seems our earth / is scolded for her unruliness, / borders fall out of place,
