    Hi, Beatrice! You’ve really captured authentically the age of these old buildings. They look like they’ve been here a looooong time, with their leaning upper floors, their worn timbers, and the ripples in their roofs. It makes me feel like I could walk right over and touch them! So nicely painted, my friend!

  • Yes Pat these buildings are very very old, as is the town. I think around 1500. Everything is old but so very well looked after and treasured.

    i was always thinking if i went to abroad next time, i would paint many sceanery, but i always just drew people. this time is also same, lol. i wish i could paint easily sceanery like you. this is my thought since i watched your watercolor work first time. lol. beautiful townscape as usual, my friend.
