Thankyou Beatrice, this is so lovely and brings back memories of snow in Canterbury. I used to haunt the cathedral when I was a kid and we could see the spires from our windows. Now we have Christmas in very hot conditions which still seems strange to me.

Now you have to pay to go to the cathedral even on the ground. Very expansive for a family !

Thanks Pat, you are right it was a gamble ! I worked on the cathedral and did the sky last. It was going to work or not… and what time wasting it would have been !!
