This is a manipulated scanned image of Poppy flower petals. I grew the poppies from seed, then picked & dried out the petals. I scanned them onto the computer & then manipulated the image In photoshop. This is one of the images i ended up with.

Interesting! Kind of looks like a scan of a brain too.

    Looks like miniature brains….heh.
    Gorgeous lines and colours..

  • Yeah, it was an interesting outcome, I liked it. I was mucking about when i first got a ‘corel paintshop-pro’ software program, I now have upgrade my computer & got an I-mac, i have only just gotten a ‘Gimpshop’ application, it does a similar thing for macs that corel did for windows, so i’ll see how i go with it & hopefully make up some more interesting, abstract images. I find it a lot of fun, but as a beginner am only just starting to explore all this stuff, there is just sooo much out there on offer in this department!! Thanx for your time, comments & favouritings, I really appreciate it. xxx
