Through the trees
The moon at christmas ‘08, through the trees out the front of the house, I liked these as the trees framed the image quite nicely. I used my ‘fujifilm finepix’ digital camera, I had it on nightime settings, no flash, I had to use the tripod eventually as my hand is just not that steady!, I got sooo many blurry images that i had to delete, honestly, i ended up with about 5 decent pics out of literally almost a hundred!!. I did have fun though & learned loads about nightime photography. I am so surprised at what i can actually achieve with this camera, I assumed you’d need some awesome lens and camera to be able to get any kind of decent moon shot, but i have collected together loads of surprisingly good moon shots, some i even managed to get close enough to get the craters in view!.
