Beccaboo

I am a 36yr old mother of a 16yr old, I live in the bush/country in Northern N.S.W,Australia, I really love to take photos of anything & everything!, I am teaching myself whatever i can, At the moment i am enjoying exploring the “Macro” world and am loving it immensely, I find it so inspiring and at the same time-totally bizarre!, I am using a ‘FujiFilm Finepix S5600’ digital camera at the moment for basic learning. I enjoy flora & fauna as a subject more so than people shots, I also like to paint & draw, & often “copy” the photos I’ve taken. I find interesting images absolutely EVERYWHERE I look!, I get overwhelmed sometimes!! I really should ( & will be soon ) doing a course about it all. I learn so much here, but feel a bit of ‘hands-on’ help will be very valuable for me. I really enjoy getting any kind of constructive criticism, and am always looking to develop my skills,talents & abilities, So any tips & tricks are always welcomed & taken on. I look forward to creating a portfolio of my work and perhaps even making a career as a freelance photographer one day, Now that would be a dream come true for me!, But is a LONG way off!,… I am learning so much from being a part of this community & feel my skills are finally developing. I also have a manual film camera, a ‘Pentax MV1’ along with a ‘Sigma Zoom Macro 1:4’ lens & a ‘Takumar-A 2x tele-converter’ lens that i haven’t even used yet!?. I am not familiar with it in any way at all, It was a gift from my fiancee. I have the manual booklet & am going to try find out what i can about it. ( If anyone is familiar with these lenses & cameras, Do you have any advise for me? Thanx. )

Also am an avid Polaroid fan & supporter of trying to save the Polaroid from extinction.
