I was born and grew up in South Carolina, although I’m nothing of a southerner at all. I realized that in 2005, my dream was to become a photographer. Pretty much everywhere I go now, I see opportunities for new photos, and wish I had my camera on me at all times.
I decided to take the name ‘beauregard’ as the authored name of my works because I felt naming it after my own name sounded too egotistical and I wanted the photos to speak for themselves.
