Shaman by Beau Ravn

Shaman by

A deeply spiritual and symbolic image representing the both the power and serenity of man as the ‘Primal Self’. Here he is seen with arms raised forming the crescent of the (feminine) moon whilst also representing the powerful horns of the ‘Aurochs’ (sacred bull) of the Celts. His spin e forms the double helix rising up to reveal the horns of the King Stag. He is clothed only in the wings of the golden eagle, his sacred totem connecting him with the spirit realms.

As with all my works, this artwork was created from handmade papers and mixed organic media from the rainforests of Northern NSW, Australia.
