The little child looked up, A sudden blast of lightening hit his face so hard and painful he screamed in terror as it nearly tore his head to the other side of his body,;that blast of lightening was his fathers hand as it came crashing across this five year olds face .;Nathan feared his father as these were regular beatings of his frail little body ,;as the mother had left them some time ago nathan had no one to talk to or see he only knew lonelioness because he had gone to kindregarden that day and his dad had not come to pick him up .That day the neighbor had brought him home and watched over him until his parent had come home ,; he was dragged into his room screaming as the father said go to sleep poor nathan had no food that day, was now to terrified to say so.he sobbed himself to sleep as one more night passed in misery for this little child. The next day the father called into the school telling them nathan was not well.that day was a changing day for the child as the father took him to mc-donalds where he thought he could play with other kids for awhile. The neighbor from across the street noticed nathans face, it was swollen on one side with some bruising she asked the father what happened he said nathan was climbing around and hurt himself the lady kept an eye on nathan it didnt seem right somehow for the child to have such a strange looking bruise on his face her kids have bruises also but this was nagging at her. She left the restaurant and went home and the next day picked up nathan and talked to him she coaxed it all out how his dad hurt him,. the child was more than glad to talk he was frightened of course of what daddy might do so the neighbor kept him at her home ;called the authorities . Nathan now lives a happier life with another family out of state .This child will always remember the beatings ..but will hopefully live his life normally —child abuse in the world is terrible, childre are gods gifts to treasure not to destroy…
