Inspired by the brilliant “Going on Record” thread in the Spherical Short Story group I’ve decided to try to list my goals for each month. So……
Enter the Bristol Short Story Prize
and Cadenza Competition
and do 2 submissions to magazines
and attend more literary events – I loved doing this this month. I don’t know if I think the talent will rub off or whether it just comforts me to see the authors are just people skin and bone and tickly cough’s like mere mortals but it makes me happy and makes me want to write more.
That’s it. I’ve gone on the record, basically I need to write 4 really good short stories this month or bust, or at least some public hat and humble pie eating, or um, something…..

good for you, Kerry….if I didn’t have targets, I wouldn’t do anything at all, just let things fly around my head and never put them down on paper…..hope you achieve your goals this month :)
