I have enjoyed drawing since I was a child. My passion for drawing and painting native people comes from my own native background. It is a way to represent where I came from and who I am. Painting or drawing images of mothers and their children gives me great joy. The inspiration comes from having my own children. It is also a special way to honor the memory of my mother.
I love bright colors; it reflects in a way my personality. I live in Tucson, AZ. The beauty of the Sonoran Desert and the diversity of the people living here also contributes to my enthusiasm for art.
