Once more into the breach,
dear friends,
said a brave king to his men,
but many years have passed
and still no sign of them.
No end to the breach,
our backs to the wall,
fighting friend and foe;
so used to it now,
we allow ourselves to vow,
never once more to be conned by the show.
But what good is that if we never left,
with an arrow stuck in our side?
We write our wills,
and parade our wants,
but they are lost in all of these lies.
Such small petty things,
have sidetracked your minds,
who cares if their black or their white?
surely more important to know,
who’s behind the enthral,
and to stop them from evil intents.
Stuck in the Breach
not really sure about this one… might be too generalised. Still, i hope it acheives something to someone.

Beautiful form to this, and sublime message! It’s not too generalised at all!! It’s great because the reader can apply it to their own experiences! I just loved this so much! You are a talent!!
