Stumble mumbling past me,
What was that you said?
I shake my head and mutter what you are,
Perhaps you will one day hear me and understand.

Why can’t you deal with your vices?
I am with mine and with less than half your experience,
Although perhaps this is what drives you, this knowledge,
To your bitter ends.

I realise this is nothing compared to some,
But for me who knows you now and then,
It is everything, as is that i
No longer feel sadness in your tears but shame,
And anger in your smile.
