At one time, the shoreline bristled with fish weirs, wharves, canneries, and smokehouses like McCurdy’s, the last commercial smokehouse in the US at the time it closed in 1991.
The small lighthouse across the channel is … Point Light on the Lubec Channel. Campobello Island, Canada.
