It took me a while to figure out what this was, Belinda!
I still don’t know (I suspect some sort of low-angle viewpoint upon a wall), and I don’t know what bearing the title has on the piece, but I like it anyway!
This has a real Yin-Yan feel to it!
Keep up the enigmatic work :)

  • I am glad that this work is proving to be a little ambiguous…

In reference to the title, the shape to the right of the screen has taken the form of an expecting women (expectant) and the shape to the left, in indeed a low angle viewpoint up a wall – an unusual and controversial style of architecture for a smaller country city, hence the urbanisation… I hope that makes sense of the title.

    Thanks for the comment.

    No worries, Belinda!
    Thanks for the explanation!
I still reckon you should make use of the yin-yan shape! :)
Urban vs. Natural ; Concrete vs. Sky – Developmental Taoism, perhaps?

  • Yeah, I guess so… I am not in a very philosophical mood at the moment… I will dwell on it a bit and elaborate further on teh symbolism in this pic…

Tasty tonal changes and the vignetting was a top call.
