I have lost it somewhere between work and the school hoildays??
I am completely unmotivated, to do my own stuff, which is making me somewhat angry. I can usually find somethng interesting to photograph, but nothing seems to be doing it for me… at all.
I feel that my personal work is becoming a bit stale, especially after seeing so much great work rolling in on here, when my phojo is so lacking. :-( . The stuff people pay me to do it great and my clients love it… but I need to satisfy my creativity with stuff for me.
I love my camera, and taking photos, but I just cant seem to get going! I think that the drabness of the region at this time of year is kind of adding to the frustration.
Can someone please give me a firm talking to and kick my but into gear… I need my phojo!! can you please help me find it!!??

Look, we all go through times that we feel we are slipping. But you have to remember we are always our own worst critics!!! You just have to remember you are here for a reason. You are talented and there is no reason to believe otherwise. You have to know that outside factors, and life’s stressors can be a huge factor in how you view your work. But if everyone else is saying BRAVO!!!, then believe that you are doing just fine. Let us here at bubble be your motivation. We love seeing your work go up……..so you have to keep it coming. And not only that, but you have this talent for a reason, to use it and show it to the world. So keep doing what you do best and keep the work coming!!!!! Hugs!

Thanks Tara,
I am my worst critic, thanks for the motivation and encouragement… I have decided to try a few new things and styles.
My hectic work/wedding schedule kicks off again in 6 days… so I better get my creative juices well and truely flowing before then, so I dont take out all my weirdness and abstraction on them!! Though they want some pics with their pet snakes on teh day… so that will be fun!!

Do, do, do do do…! (Bad representation of spooky music.) I was on Facilebook this morning and saw you were on line, was gunna chat to ya about why there is a Fraser missing in action. But didn’t cause it said you’d only just left the FB idling.
What I do in phojo droughts is just shoot weird shit. No thinking, no caution, just shoot. The weirder the better.
Belinda Fraser:
Thanks Col… I am heading to Melbs in a couple of weeks… shooting a wedding in the city… I might need to get stuck into some ‘weird shit’ (photographically speaking) whilst down there!!
I havent had a photodrought, as such… I have taken 5000 frames since October… but all of them have been for my clients… Weddings, families, that sort of stuff, which I really enjoy doing… but I do need some weird stuff to completely satisfy my creative appetite!! I did try today… was at the river, but landscapes are really not my thing…

My phojo often goes missing in action.
Dont be afraid to put the camera down until you want to take photos again. Break your normal routines and find new experiences, places and people who inspire you to photograph again…
Belinda Fraser:
Thanks Shane… I think that I have been over thinking stuff… I should know by now that I work best by NOT thinking… just doing.
I get uninspired by my surroundings and just get bored and frustrated… I really want to take photos… perhaps it is the fact that I forced myself into a break from my camera/photoshop for 3 weeks that have driven me mad… I think it needs to be a daily thing… perhaps a 365 day challenge will get me motivated!!
