Scenes like this one always cause me to think of the people who lived here. This is a very dramatic shot, especially with the background of the tree. The little bit of green (moss?) or coloring add to the allure. Wonderful work, Belinda.

Yep, Moss… This was in the most glorious location, tucked away on the side of a hill with a magical little waterfall and cottage gardens outside. If you get a chance to go there, it is part of the ruins of an old gold mining settlement in a small town called Adelong, a photographers treasure trove or ruined buildings, old mining equipment, granite buildings and walls… It was -2 degrees and snowing whilst I was there, so didnt get too many pics, cos I forgot my gloves!!!
