A Red Umbrella

Pretty days of Autumn, which bring a cooler breeze.
Birds high upon a wing, the swaying of the trees.
The clouds which look like cotton, the skies turn shades of yellow.
The future holds surprises just like a red umbrella.
Termites crossing sidewalk, and bees just pollenating.
The beauty of all life, a hope so captivating.
Warmness from a heart, propensity to smile.
A love enough for all and tenderness for miles.
The sharing of a poem, a most facetious fella.
A yearning to protect, just like a red umbrella.
Compassionate assurance, a notable respect.
A twinkling in her eye, no motive to dissect.
A secretive alliance, a passionate embrace.
The softness of a breath, two lips against a face.
The nights abandon calling, the texture of the flesh.
Magnetic lure of sighs, a granting of a wish.
A candlelight romance, a song in a capella.
Fulfilling life’s desires, just like a red umbrella.
