What if man continued fighting? What if Heaven lost its lighting?
What if freedom lost its will? What if charm had no appeal?
What if grass began to die? What if insects ruled the sky?
What if fragrance lost its smell? What if we’re condemned to Hell?
What if oceans lost their salt? What if kindness was for naught?
What if we can’t get along? What if music had no song?
What if writers failed to write? What if artists lost their sight?
What if fingers had no hand? What if hearts weren’t in demand?
What if Jesus turned away? What if Satan cheered, “Hooray”?
What if clocks forgot to chime? What if we ran out of time?
What if land began to rot? What if air became too hot?
