Cape Hawke Boat Harbour - Forster, NSW, Australia by

The popular twin tourist towns of Forster-Tuncurry,3 hours north of Sydney, are separated by a 640m long undulating bridge over the entrance to the magnificent Wallis lake.
The white sandy floor of the estuary, here not far from the entrance to the Pacific Ocean, contributes to the remarkable blueness of the water.
The Forster-Tuncurry Bridge recently (July 18th 2009) celebrated its 50th Year being built by John Holland Constructions in 1958-59 and officially opened on July 18th 1959.
