Took a macro shot of the screw things on top of our roof. Came out unexpectedly nice and won me second prize in a local photo contest (still life).
The caption has been given because the screw is bolted to the roof and it’s going nowhere. Together forever until death do us part! Ya, I know… lame caption.
I’ve been faced with such still-life relationships and it’s quite a good caption in my opinion :) Those two are now as one. It’s a very interesting composition. The roof tries to drag the eyes off into infinity, but they remain ‘bolted’ onto the bolt. Very clever.
I’m not surprised you won a prize for this, its superb! The title works well too, overall you’ve done extremely well here, congratulations!!! Seeing a shot like this takes a special eye…..love it!
