waterfall, rocks, ferns, moss, bette devine
Many years ago I painted. Then I realised that I did better at photography than painting – and that has been my medium of expression ever since.
Beautiful image, Bette! Love the POV which captures the meandering stream!
Thanks Lynn. Glad you like it.

So beautiful Bette, like a little piece of Paradise!
Thanks swaby – it actually is a ‘little piece of paradise’ which survived a terrible bushfire.
Thanks you, fausel.
Gorgeous image Bette! x
Thanks, my friend. x
so soft and serene…gorgeous work Bette!!!
I’m so happy that you like it, Angela.
Such a serene and lovely spot, lush with moss and tree ferns. I would love to see this with another image added on the underexposure side (wondering how much detail it might be possible to capture in the highlights). As I’ve yet to try HDR myself, this gives me something to think about.
O Sharp Eyed One! This is actually from three images of which two are copies of the original – which was responsible for the burnt out parts of the water. Not even the magic of Photomatix could put detail where none had ever existed. This was very fast-moving water, too. I’m still learning the ropes!
A beautiful sight Bette. Well done.
Glad you like it, Michael, and thank you!
beautiful place to take pictures. that’s a nice fall ;)
Thanks Manon. This is one of my favourite places.
Thanks once again, Lorraine. :)
