Upright perennial herb to 60cm.( Perhaps I should have posted a picture which shows the leaves, which are lanceolate and clustered around the base of the plant, but this photo is more pleasing, aesthetically!)Flowers are pink to magenta with a white, tubular centrewith two stamens united into a long bent column that springs across when touched near the base to dust the insect with pollen.
