Many years ago I painted. Then I realised that I did better at photography than painting – and that has been my medium of expression ever since.
Many thanks, Bruce.

Beautifully framed, excellent tonal range and natural textures. That tree in the foreground is a beautiful specimen!
I’m glad that you like it. The foreground tree is probably the only one like that to survive two fires.
This is a super capture and it’s so very clear and detailed. This en-captures what I love about the Australian bush.
Great comment. Thank you very much, Albert – I think we are kindred spirits!
Beautiful shot & I love the B&W.
Thanks Warren – I’m happy that I decided to B&W it!
Wonderful capture Bette! Worked really well in mono.
Thanks Arfan. I prefer it in mono. Eucalypts with gum bark are natural subjects for B&W I think.
Outstanding beauty Bette.
I’m so happy that you like it, Julie, and thanks!
Fabulous capture, they have such a lovely grace!!
River red gums are the best of trees! Thanks, Lorraine.
OMG!! YESS!! Even in B&W they are MAJESTIC who or where can they be beat? I know there are greener and bigger and brighter trees and places that what we have, BUT OH BOY if anyone thinks that the beat ours, Then I say to the just look again and walk with our Giants. …..Ron xx
Then we are in total agreement, Ron! Thanks for your great comment!
