Many years ago I painted. Then I realised that I did better at photography than painting – and that has been my medium of expression ever since.

I followed your dreadful fires and much of the fire damage and it was heartbreaking, really great to see this wonderfull sight Bette. a beautiful image and a fav!! x

  • Yes, as I first drove up the Black Spur through this forest I was relieved to see that at least here, the forest would recover soon – maybe within my lifetime. But a lot has gone and will not be back for a very long time.
    Glad you like this.

Beautiful. Great to see nature recovering.

  • Thanks Michael. Yes, it IS heartening to see at least some recovery of what was a very lovely forest.

green, black, silver — a wonderful palette and a great semi-abstract effect with all the verticals broken by the graceful fronds — gotta be a fav Bette!

  • That’s some review! Thank you and thanks for the fave.
